50 YEARS OF CHANGES

THE FUTURE OF OUR EXPRESS FREIGHT SERVICE WAS BORN IN 1967

The story of the modern Transfilm Company started 50 years ago.
The Viola brothers - Marco, Vito and Cesarino – started to transport movie films to Brescia and Mantua, as at that time they delivered the classical pizza format to the cinemas, and committed themselves directly to offer an express freight service in 1967, in a small 450 sq.m. depot situated at via Austria in Castel Goffredo.

CARLO’S DREAM

At first our activity was based on maintaining Carlo’s father’s work who had started to transport the films distributing them to several cinemas of the area by initially using an old car and then a Fiat 615 vehicle.

The three brothers worked day and night to see their father’s dream come true, by managing groupage freight and covering the whole national territory in a few years, so as to generate the first resources to promote our company.

OUR INVESTMENTS AND GROWTH

During the following years the need for more space dramatically increased in our company together with our turnover and the economic development of the whole region. Therefore at the end of the ‘90 the Viola brothers decided to make an important change: they left the premises of Via Austria and invested in the new premises located in via Berlino, which are still the symbol of the non-stop growth of our company.

Looking at all the things they created, the satisfaction of giving a hope for the future to more than 200 families, the third generation who is already working in the company: all this fills them with pride. And our story is not over yet.
